I earned another Santa stamp for my good behavior at school.
I brought home this paper that I had written an answer to a question. The question was, "Tell what your family will do for Thanksgiving." I wrote, "I will go to my ocols." That last work was supposed to be "uncles." Mimz send this picture to Uncle Scott. He will like it.
I played basketball with Alyssa and Anna Kate for a couple of hours. We played well together with no squabbling. Later Jackson played soccer with me until dark.
I came in to eat and get cleaned up for my den meeting. I fought wearing my cub scout shirt and scarf but after I got to the meeting I was okay with it.
This week at home we worked on creating a "game" I could play with my family and then I could teach to my den. Three boys showed us their game last week and I showed my game to my den tonight. No other boy did the assignment. My game was similar to the rock, paper, scissors game but made for a group to play. All the boys sat in a circle and I explained the rules. They were to hold their fists in front of them and count to three. On three each boy would hold out a number of fingers between one and ten. If any boy had the same number as any other boy they were both out of the game. Then we repeated it and any matches meant those boys were out. Until we were down to only one boy left. We made up a special way to pick a winner if there were two boys left. It was fun but some boys tried to see what others had before they put out there fingers.
I don't have a Christmas tree in my room, like I do at Mimz, but I have a couple strands of lights that make my room festive.
Barbara noticed in my Boys' Life magazine there were several contests that I could enter to win Boy Scout gear or other things boys like. She has been entering me in each contest every day. My chances of winning are probably not good, but it only takes a few minutes so she is trying to give me as many chances as I can get.
Kristan has high blood pressure issues. Yesterday her doctor has said she is on bed rest and so she can not teach any more until after she has the baby. They are sort of planning on the baby being born on Monday, December 5th. Barbara babysat Anna Kate today and Andy is off work tomorrow so he will take care of her tomorrow while Kristan tries to rest and also get ready for the impending birth.
