I was wound up last night, but I was so tired I fell asleep last night by 9pm and the phone woke me up this morning at 8am.   The first word out of my mouth this morning was "Sam."  Then I told Mimz I wanted her to take me on a train and I wanted to be an engineer when I grow up.  I must have been dreaming about trains.  I found Sam easily.

Mimz and I played outside and I wore my tennis shoes because I can go faster on my scooter in them than I can in my boots.  I like ride it all the time now and I can go so fast!  Early all I wanted was milk, but after playing outside I was ready for breakfast.  I ate four pancakes!

Daddy brought me over to Barbara's around noon.  He brought some suckers for me.  Barbara says I will have to wait to get Mommy to give them to me.  Barbara won't give me candy, except Proud Candy if I do something great to earn it.
For six days I have watched the workman use a big saw to cut wood for the floor.  I have a couple of the scraps and I pretended to use a saw...
Here I am smoothing off an edge...
...and admiring my good work.
This is a picture of my new tool box with my tools, keys, and phone in it.
Once today I tossed my cowboy hat on the floor and Barbara told me to pick it up.   I said no.  She said ONE, and I jumped to pick it up.  That was the closest I came to time out this afternoon.

I played outside with Luke for about an hour.  We played nicely but we do need supervision.
Quinten and Sparkie finished grouting the bathroom and putting down wood floor on the staircase.  They left about ten minutes after 5.  They said they will miss the little pirate or fireman and that I was not any trouble for them.  This picture makes it look like I was near the workmen and would have been a bother, but actually this was the only time I was near their work area.  I was never upstairs or on the stairs while they were working.  But here they were almost finished and THEY were working near my play area.
Mommy and I were over at Luke's this evening and Nicole and Mr. Brad gave us gifts.  Thye gave me the BEST gift ever:  a blower!  They have seen me using that old tube as a blower for a couple of years now, and they decided it was time I had the real thing.

This evening Mimz told Barbara she sure misses me.  She said she got a lot done this afternoon, after not getting anything done all weekend when I was there to entertain her.  She said I was very good all weekend and took correction very well and just went with the flow.

PaPa and Grandma drove to Bella Vista, Arkansas today.  The take a different route than Barbara does.  They go through Dallas:  9 hours and 557 miles.   (Barbara's route takes her east of Dallas:  11 hours and 575 miles.  She stops at least five times to take short breaks, sometimes even a nap, and probably does not drive as fast as the younger PaPa.)
