Today the Laplante family had their Christmas celebration, so everyone could be there.  Andy and Kristan will be with the Kieschnick family on Christmas Day and Bridget and Chris will be with the Berneche family and I will be with the Watson family.
Bridget loved playing Auntie, holding me while we watched Fireman Sam on the iPad.
Chris enjoyed rough-housing with me...
...and I enjoyed it too.

When Barbara got here, I jumped in her car and pretended I was driving a big fire truck.
Great Grandpa and I enjoyed a coffee-chocolate milk break.
PaPa and I had work to do..
I followed behind him while we used our blowers...
...I got anything he missed.
Two men hard at work.

Daddy drove up to get me so he could get my haircut....
These are the before pictures...
...and after my haircut.
Mimz took me to Mass and I saw some men dressed up nicely.  I told her that is what I wanted to wear, so she dressed me in my special gentleman's outfit.
When we arrived at the lake, Daddy....

and Mommy worked to get my outfit just right.
This is what I call a gentleman cowboy.  Front ....
... and back.
Mommy liked all of these pictures of me ...
...so they all made the blog.
Most everyone was outside watching PaPa fry a turkey.
Look closely and you can see Kristan and Andy between Bridget and Chris.

Chris and Bridget.
Great Grandmother Avis sat down to take a break from cooking.  Grandma was still very sick, so she either napped or supervised the cooking from the other room.
There were twelve of us so six people sat at one table...
... and six at the other.  I was supposed to sit with the adults (PaPa, Grandma, GGM Avis, GGF John, and Barbara, but I ended up sitting with the kids (Andy, Kristan, Bridget, Chris, Mommy, and Daddy.)
I was so ready to eat and open presents.  I was trying to be patient.
I had on a bib to protect my special gentleman cowboy outfit.  I did eat some Mac and Cheese before everyone else got to sit down to eat.   PaPa said grace.
It looks like there are a lot of presents under this tree, but by the time you divide it twelve ways, it wasn't too much.  I did get more than my share, but I am also the only child.
PaPa was so surprised to find a tool box in the garage.  He still does not know how it got there.  (It was hidden in the neighbor's garage until Andy and Chris moved it when PaPa was in the house.)

Finally it was time to open presents.  The first gift I opened was a toy vacuum sweeper.  Oh, how I will love helping with vacuuming.  Remember I love to help with all kinds of chores, even housework.
I was thrilled with each gift I opened, like this pirate ship for the bathtub.
Occasionally I needed Mommy or Daddy's help to get a box open...
...but mostly I could do it all by myself.

Daddy loved this gift from Andy and Kristan,  the Hulk boxing gloves.
I made out like a bandit, but it couldn't be helped.  I am the only little child and everyone wants to shower me with gifts.  I got books, clothes, a Nabi tablet, a fire station, a baseball throwing and hitting toy (that we played with a lot the next day) and money for my college fund.
This gift to Andy from Bridget and Mommy was meant as a joke.  He was so stumped and worried all day about what it was...
It was a big big old cowboy hat...
...the real gift was the neon Houston Texans emblem.  He was pleased with his gift ...  and wanted to keep the old hat!
Chris gave Bridget a new OU "O" club ring to replace the one that had lost its stone.  "O" club members are OU athletes.  Mommy and Bridget both received iPads.  Andy and Kristan got big rolls of money to go towards a washer and dryer.
