Happy Birthday, Uncle Scott. Hope you have a great day. Yesterday was PaPa's birthday.
Oh, I have had a very busy day. First I hunted for Charlie, finding him peeking over the television. They I ate a big breakfast consisting of grits, scrambled eggs, and sausage. We rarely have sausage, having it today because GGF John likes to have it for breakfast.
I was ready for school early, so I helped GGM Avis start washing the upstairs windows. I love, love, love, to help do chores. I did not want to stop washing windows to go to school.
Mommy drove me to school, stopping by Mimz' home to get my green school Christmas shirt. Well, I really did not want to put it on and as it turned out, most of the kids did not have it on either. We had our Christmas party at snack time. I contributed goldfish. I ate a cookie, chips, goldfish, and candy. Miss Melanie gave us each a little drawing tablet and a sucker. I ate the sucker as soon as I got out of Barbara's car and played with the drawing tablet as soon as the sucker was gone.
Barbara made a mistake this morning. She did not send a lunch to school for me because she thought our Christmas party would be at lunch. So the school gave me a chicken nugget lunch. GGF John came with Barbara to pick me up so he paid for my lunch. I don't go back to school until January 8th.
Mimz is sick and Grandma is sick. Mommy drove up to the lake to help Grandma do more things to get ready for Christmas. Barbara's computer print quit working, so she and GGF bought her a new one. That makes three things that have broken this month: the big living room television, the refrigerator/freezer, and Barbara's computer printer.
PaPa came over to work on his Honey Do list. He and GGF John brought some furniture upstairs. He painted, and drilled, hung a mirror, and did everything anyone asked him to do. They also cleaned up the garage.
We had a snack of cookies or Chex Party Mix and coffee (for some). GGM Avis brought both the cookies and Chex Party Mix from her home in Arkansas.
Mommy was busy wrapping the presents she bought for her family. GGM Avis cooked some sausage patties for the freezer so I could have one with my breakfast whenever I want. Barbara emptied and cleaned the waterfall. I helped Barbara put my books in my bookshelf and put my kitchen things in the kitchen. Oh, what a busy day for everyone. By 4pm, everyone was pooped, except for me.
Mommy and I went over to Mimz house because Daddy was cooking some steaks and I wanted one. I ate like a piggie again. Mimz gave me a bath while Mommy and Daddy cleaned up after dinner.
Mommy carried a sleeping boy (me) from her car to her bed since it was not upstairs like my bed.
A funny story: Bridget called Grandma from Wal-Mart saying she saw the PERFECT gift for Mason: a Black and Decker toy blower! Grandma told her that would have been perfect, but Mr. Brad beat her to it! Hey, Bridget, don't give up. Keep looking, I bet you can find another perfect gift for your favorite nephew.
