I slept 12 hours last night, waking up for only ten minutes one time.  Barbara raised the head of my bed a few inches so my head would be higher than my feet to help me breath better, but I really did not have any trouble on that count.

First thing I said when I opened my eyes was, "Where did that elf move to?"  I found in in less than a minute.  He was peeking over the 8 x 10 picture of me on the fireplace mantle.

Grandma picked PaPa up at the airport, then they headed here to see me and to see the work the guys have done on the upstairs floors.  They picked out the color for the tile grout and then left to do some shopping and head for the lake so Grandma can do her ProLawn job.  They will be back in the morning to start getting our upstairs back in order.

Barbara and I read, told stories, and watched her iPad.  I was having a constipation problem and mostly wanted to just stand until I got that problem taken care of.  It took several hours.

ProLawn came today and I looked out windows the entire time there were here.  I can't see as well as I can from upstairs windows.  I stood on a chair at the backdoor and I stood on the dryer in the utility room.  Don't worry, Barbara was right beside me while I was standing on the dryer.

At 5pm the wood floors are done. The bathroom floor is laid, just needs grout put in it on Monday. The staircase work has been started.

I kept asking Barbara for some Mac and Cheese.  Of course, she forgot to buy some since she does not eat it.  I hoped that Mimz would have some when I got there.  Turns out Mimz did not have any, but she asked Daddy to stop at the grocery store.  Oh, what they won't do for me, the favorite grandson!  As it happens I am the only grandson... on both sides of my family.

Mimz was busy wrapping presents before she met Barbara and me at the school around 4pm.
Mimz had lots of new things for me to see when we got to her home.  Mimz had some Christmas pajamas for me.  Look closely: I don't have on socks!  You will not see that happen but once or twice a year.
This was one of my dad's motorcycle shirts when he was age 10 or 12.   Mimz will have to keep it for me for a few more years until I grow into it.

We did not have Mac and Cheese for dinner, we had something even better.  Mrs. Finch gave Mimz some of her homemade lasagna so we had that and I loved it.

I got in bed to listen to Mimz read some bedtime stories and I did not make it through the first story.  My nose is stuffy but Mimz turned on the humidifier.  I hope we all have restful night.
