I woke up at 3am wanting to potty, drink white milk, get medicine, and hear a story. Barbara said okay to everything except the story. She said I could hear several stories in the morning.
I woke up when the floor workman arrived because they rang the doorbell. I still have a clear runny nose and my eyes were watering also. I asked if I was going to see Hannah. The answer was no, but Thursday I would go to school if I was feeling good.
I still refuse to poop in the potty, but this morning I was willing, but just barely, to sit on the potty for about a minute. Barbara was doing some fast talking telling me who we would call to tell what I had just done and that I would get some Proud Candy... but in the end I had to put on a diaper to poop. As soon as I had on the diaper... I went. We will keep trying and it will happen... just be patient with me please.
A funny thing: I had been saying, "My nose is running." about every two minutes so Barbara would jump to get me a Puff tissue She said, "You expect me to jump when you need a Puff, don't you?" From then on I would just say, "Jump!" and she would laugh and get me a Puff.
I played with my new tool box a lot today. I really like it. I discovered I could use it as a seat if I needed one. I could also use it as a step at the front door to get me up high enough to look out the window. I put my little cell phone in my tool box. Good place for it.
I remembered to look for Charlie, my elf. He was sitting on top of the bakers rack in our breakfast room. I remembered not to touch him and told Barbara how Charlie's magic would go away if anybody touched him.
Poor Morgan has the flu, so Mimz is nursing her back to good health.
I don't want to watch television. I only wanted to watch Fireman Sam YouTube videos. Barbara told me she had to charge the iPad and put an end to that.
I spent the entire day playing doorman for the floor workmen. Every time they would go out or come in, I was there to open the door and hold it open. They always said, "Thank you" and I would say, "Welcome." Another thing we did was make a hook sign with our finger at each other like Captain Hook. We didn't say anything or maybe we would say, "Grrrrrr." It was just a fun thing to do. If they had both arms full of flooring they did not do it.
It was freezing outside early in the morning but during the afternoon it was warm enough for Barbara and me to kick a ball around the front yard while we watched the guys use their saws. We were a long way away from the saws.
For lunch I had sausage rice pilaf and peaches. I ate Daddy's leftover Chinese food for dinner, along with raisin toast and ice cream.
Daddy picked me up around 6pm and took me to Mimz home. I did not have a nap, too busy playing with the floor workman.... I did stay out of the way... Barbara made sure of that. She was always right beside me when I was near the stairs, the entryway, or out in the front yard where the saws were set up.
