Mimz and I went to the mall, where Mimz bought me two new pairs of pj's.
One was Thomas the Train pj's with feet! When we got to Barbara's house, I put them on. I don't think I have every had pj's with feet, except tiny baby onesies like Anna Kate wears.
Barbara said the phrase "naked as a jaybird" and I started to show them what naked as a jaybird meant. They all laughed at my antics.
Mimz and Barbara helped me make more slime. They wanted two colors of slime, but I would not cooperate, so we ended up with two very similar shades of blue. Barbara said she doesn't know how a teacher does crafts with a room full of children. She can barely do it with one child. She would do crafts with me a lot if I would cooperate and have more patience. Maybe one day I will sit still longer and we can be more successful with making crafts.
Before Mimz left I started having a very bad spell and I ended up in Time Out. I left my Time Out spot and went outside. Oh boy!... that is not a good thing to do. It ended up, since I would not sit in Time Out, Barbara kept me in place by putting her legs over mine for five minutes. I cried and screamed and hit (I got hit back and that put a stop to my hitting) but I stayed there... I didn't have a choice. At the end of the five minutes, Barbara talked to me about a new policy. Until recently I would stay in Time Out on my own, without much complaint. Well, the new policy at Barbara's house is IF I don't willing stay in my Time Out spot I will suffer the consequences: no bike for two days! Now I don't think anything could be worse. I could lose other privileges like no TV, no iPad, no Car Town, etc. I might have to think about thinking before I act up.
I was not a happy camper, so I just played with Car Town by myself for ten minutes, then I was ready to join the family. I had Barbara help me get dressed, then we threw my socks at each other for a long long time. We have lots of fun doing little things like that.
We took Anna Kate on a stroller ride and then I rode my bike coming up with some new tricks. One thing I did was bend my leg backwards and put my foot on my bike seat and put one hand up in the air. That was simple, but that is the kind of tricks I am coming up with. I have a bigger trick: I ride slowly, then swing my leg over the bike and dismount while the bike is still moving.
Barbara would rather I didn't do these tricks but I will do much worse before long because I am all boy. My dad and Uncle Scott could do all kinds of tricks on their bikes. Barbara wants to try to ride Mimz bike, just to see if she can still ride a bike. If she can, she will think about getting herself a bike so she can go on ride with me.
I love this little girl. Barbara is pleased that I understand that babies need attention and I don't mind sharing their attention with her.
Because we have a large carpeted area in the garage, we have another old game we play:
I pretend to be driving on I-45 and I am involved in a car crash.
Barbara calls the ambulance, and I really put on a show acting hurt. We have played this activity for a couple of years.
Mommy and I ate spaghetti and corn bread with GGM, GGF, and Barbara. I told GGM she makes the best corn bread....(Jiffy corn muffins)
